In 1 Tim 2:1-2, we are exhorted that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence.
Specifically the aspect of thanking God in prayer for political leaders will be superficial and hypocritical unless based on an actual understanding of what is actually worth being thankful for, and why. kudos.news is a personal initiative of Norbert Bollow in Switzerland, initially with the support of someone in Canada, and hopefully over time with the support of more people in more countries, aiming to produce a monthly newsletter about something that happened in the previous month and that is worth thanking God for in prayer. The supporting analysis is intended to be brutally honest.
